Time will tell
Bought last year, didn't flower (didn't expect it to after just planting) so hoping it flowers this year.

This perennial dies back to below ground level each year in autumn, then fresh new growth appears again in spring.

Arrived extremely well packaged and in great condition. Was very pleased with the size of the plant & it will fill a gap in my border perfectly. Can't wait for it to flower!

I do not use slug control - Peonies can be quite pricey but I know the slugs do not eat them and they will go on and on.

It definitely was one of the most beautiful plants in my garden this year

Thank you for your question. Non-blooming peonies are typically a result of planting depth - peonies do not like to be planted too deeply (i.e. no more than 3-5cm). Any deeper and they may not flower well. For the same reason, avoid mulching too much as this will gradually bury the crown. Could this be the reason?
