How to care for Aubrieta Purple Cascade (Cascade Series) F1:
Once well established, harden off seedlings and plant them out in a sunny spot, allowing 30cm (12in) between each. For optimal growth, plant Aubretia in well-draining soil with neutral to slightly alkaline pH.
Provide at least half a day of sun to maintain its compact form and abundant flowering. Avoid planting in soils prone to waterlogging, especially in winter, and trim lightly after flowering to promote bushiness and potentially a second bloom.
Feed lightly with a general-purpose liquid fertiliser in spring, and during dry spells, ensure the plant receives adequate water to support establishment. In early autumn, prune back 25-50% to maintain a dense, bushy appearance.
