Growing to around 1.5m (5ft) in height and spread, it has a bushy habit that works well in borders, containers, or as a focal point in smaller gardens.
The large, rounded blooms appear from early summer through to early autumn, migrating from pale lime opening buds, through reddish tones to achieve its deep purple, creating months of vibrant colour.
