Alive but not flourishing
I thought this had died during winter as it was slow to produce leaves this year. Some stems needed to be removed. Hasn't flowered this year, hoping it does better next year.

This shrub is deciduous so it will lose all its leaves in autumn, then fresh new foliage appears again each spring.

I bought this as a gift for a keen gardener friend. It came well packaged and in lovely condition. My friend was very pleased but I did have to print of my own information for it/her as there was nothing on the plant and I chose it for her so she had no idea. She has put it a tub for now but may plant it into the border or the lawn, she is undecided but it could do any of these spots.
