Calibrachoa ‘Caliloco Dracula’ is ideal for hanging baskets, window boxes and mixed pots, where the cascading stems can spill over the edges. It’s easy to grow, thrives in a sunny spot, and needs regular watering and feeding to keep the flowers coming. As a bonus, the open blooms provide accessible pollen for butterflies.

How to care for Calibrachoa Caliloco Dracula:
Pot up seedlings and cuttings and grow them on under glass until the risk of frost has passed. Once conditions are warmer, they can be planted directly into well-prepared beds, or used to fill patio pots, window boxes, and hanging baskets for long-lasting seasonal colour. Larger 9cm bedding plants don’t usually need potting on but will benefit from initial frost protection in spring.
To keep bedding plants looking their best, pinch out the tips to promote bushier growth and water regularly, especially in containers where compost dries out quickly. Feed with a high-potash fertiliser every couple of weeks to encourage continuous flowering. Deadhead faded blooms, as required, to extend the display and keep plants tidy, ensuring vibrant summer flowers from planting time right through to the first frosts.
If receiving an easyplanter, half-fill your decorative pot or basket with compost (you'll need one with a diameter of at least 30cm or 12in), place the tray on top, and fill in any gaps around the edges with a bit more compost before giving it all a good water. The roots of the plants can grow through the base of the plastic tray and into the compost below, so provided it is kept frost free and well watered, the plants will soon start to fill out.
