Comments about Crocus Stachys officinalis 'Hummelo':

I bought three of these last summer and they survived the winter. Growing strongly in the Spring with tall spikes of pinkish mauve flowers that look a bit like bottle brushes. They didn't need support and look great planted near Artemesia Powys Castle and Salvia Viola Klose.

      Comments about Stachys officinalis 'Hummelo':

Saw this plant growing at Wakehurst Place and was impressed. I am using it as ground cover between Lavatera shrubs in a part shaded border.
