Hi, If I buy the zinc galvanised trough and the self watering tray, can i put soil directly onto the tray or do the plants need to be in individual pots on top of the tray as well?

Hello there No you will still need to have the plants in pots, which then sit on top of the self watering tray inside the trough. Hope this helps
