Hedging Plants

Hedging is a great alternative to fencing, as it often shows seasonal variation as well as providing shelter for wildlife. Fast-growing hedges (such as privet or field maple) will create good coverage in record time, but may need clipping more often than a slower growing evergreen like yew, which will stay neat and tidy for longer.
