Hi, I am thinking of buying the sphere planter with stand and wondered if it would be suitable to grow hostas in. I was thinking that with the long thin legs of the stand, there would be less likehood of slugs and snails climbing into the pots. If acceptable, would I fit more than one plant in it? Thank you, I know this product isn't currently in stock but have seen it in a booklet from a couple of years ago. If unsuitable, is there anything else you can suggest please?

Lynn

Hi Lynn, yes our sphere planter would be perfect for Hostas. You could plant them up with two or three of the smaller/lower growing varieties like these: https://www.crocus.co.uk/plants/_/hosta-blue-mouse-ears/classid.2000010754/ https://www.crocus.co.uk/plants/_/hosta-devon-green/classid.2000015669/ https://www.crocus.co.uk/plants/_/hosta-fire-and-ice/classid.2000021307/ Or a single plant of one of our slightly larger varieties would also work well.
