Small shiney black, metallic blue or yellowish-brown beetles seen on plants. These readily jump off when the plant is disturbed. These adult beetles eat small round holes in petals and leaves. The larvae feed on the roots, causing the plant to wilt.
Flea beetles and their larvae
Severe attacks can kill seedlings. The growth of older plants is checked. Flowers are ruined and leaves are disfigured.
Organic – Keep plants well watered as the beetles don't like it too wet.
Chemical - spray with Bug Clear Concentrate.
