The RHS Bridgewater Garden
designed by Tom Stuart-Smith
To celebrate the opening of the new RHS Bridgewater garden, this feature garden was commissioned by the RHS as a collage for the Chelsea Flower Show, showcasing the landscape around what will be the new Welcome building.
The RHS Bridgewater Garden at Chelsea was the largest garden at this year’s show, double the size of one of the Show Gardens, highlighting key features from the designs for the 154 acre garden.
The garden was subdivided by paths, which were fully accessible to the public. The pattern of paths was similar to that at Bridgewater, based on a mathematical pattern called the Voronoi diagram.
The entire garden was relocated to RHS Garden Bridgewater after the show, where it was reconfigured.
