Plant description
From midsummer into early autumn, it produces masses of golden-yellow, daisy-like flowers, each with a dark reddish centre. The long stems are sturdy, making them ideal for cutting, and the plant holds its shape well at the back of a border.
Heliopsis helianthoides var. scabra 'Summer Nights' is reliable, long-lived and low maintenance once established, thriving in full sun and well-drained soil. Its bold colouring pairs well with ornamental grasses or dark-leaved perennials.
