Description

Hardwood half-barrel planter made from joinery grade 2cm-thick European birch timber from managed forests. Simple and sophisticated, it brings a fresh Scandi feel to the garden. Superb for herbs or vibrant annuals.

The sturdy tubs are built in Scotland by a cooperage working hand-in-hand with the whisky industry, which is reflected in their quality. These aren’t the flimsy affairs you sometimes see in garden centres - they’re solid, chunky tubs with plenty of heft.

Finished with galvanised steel hoops and a clear water-based protective coating to emphasise the natural colour and grain of the birch. Supplied without drainage holes, but can be easily drilled.
