Description

Ornamental metal trout mounted on a sturdy stake. Great for adding a touch of whimsy to rockeries or around the pond, and marking plants and dormant bulbs in the borders.

Made from steel with a pewter powder coat, the fish simply screw onto the stakes to assemble. Their double-sided design means you can have them swimming in either direction.

Arrange in shoals to create a sense of movement and flow, or mix with stakes of other colours and heights for a striking contrast.

With age and exposure to the elements, the metal will oxidise to produce a more rustic finish. This process will occur more quickly in areas where the powder coating has been breached.

Please note: these individually handmade and finished stakes will vary slightly in colour tone from batch to batch and may include some sharp points or edges. Take care when unpacking and handling them and position in a quiet spot off the beaten track. When pushing into the ground, hold the lower part of the stem and push. Do not put all your weight on the head.
