Buy Geranium Dreamland ('Bremdream') (PBR) geranium: Puts on a prolific, long-lasting display

This perennial dies back to below ground level each year in autumn, then fresh new growth appears again in spring.

  • Position: full sun or partial shade
  • Soil: fertile, well-drained soil
  • Rate of growth: average to fast growing
  • Flowering period: May to September
  • Hardiness: fully hardy

Forming a creeping carpet of attractively divided foliage, this wonderful geranium will help keep weeds at bay. It is best loved, however, for its ability to produce an abundance of dark-veined, pale pink flowers throughout summer. Perfect for adding colour at the front of the border, for softening the edges of a path, or for spilling over the sides of a pot.

  • Garden care: Carefully weed by hand as hoeing can break rhizomes, which are very close to the surface. Lift and divide large colonies in spring.

Excellent flowerer for the whole summer and into autumn.

Planted in a deep shade area last summer, spreads well and has given interest for the whole of summer and well into autumn. Lovely plentiful flowers, requires very little maintenance, apart from giving other plants some space.

Flora and fauna

Low level spreading and trailing foliage. Abundant delicate pink flowers.

useful garden plant

looks good in pot, delicate colouring

A very showy, reliable geranium

This is a really useful ground cover geranium that likes to spread itself about without being too much of a thug and it just keeps flowering. I usually give it a bit of trim when it gets untidy and it soon starts flowering again. This is a long lived plant and well worth buying.

This is a very pretty non stop flowering geranium, what more can i say! Buy it you will not be disappointed.

never give up

pretty -- and very spready

Really graceful flowers and loads of them, & the slugs & snails that munch great chunks out of everything else I plant have left it alone from day one. If (like me) you haven't got a huge garden, it's worth knowing that it also spreads like crazy. It's only in its first year & has already had me looking up how to divide it. So don't be taken in by the delicate pink flowers, since it's a bruiser, and currently fighting it out for space with much bigger and sturdier perennials (my money is on the geranium, tbh).

A small plant with a big impact.

A small, spreading geranium carrying many delicate, pink flowers for many months. A pleasure to see.

Shropshire Lass

Lovely glowing colour in shade

In 2018 I bought 6 to help fill out a shaded border and they have performed well. They've spread well and brightened an otherwise dull patch.

Planting companions for roses

Early flowering roses tend to come in shades of white, pink or purple-pink and most forms of the biennial foxglove, Digitalis purpurea, have toning flowers in similar colours. These appear in rose time, but carry on after the first rose flush has finished
