I bought these as possible flowers for my daughter's wedding bouquet. Although I didn't use them in the end, I was so pleased to have them in the garden as they are stunningly beautiful anemones! Im hoping they will come back next year...

Very pleased with these flowers. Easy to grow and the colours are just beautiful.

This anemone has a fabulous rich colour, one of many of the more unusual plants availlable from Crocus. Their web site offers a rewarding search for plants not generally stocked by the big plant centres.

Beautiful flower, just like the images. Very easy to plant and maintain, I'm a novice any they aleady have their leaves for next year. Easy to replant if you need to move then, great addition to any border!

These wonderful flowers come up quite early in later winter, early spring and stay in bloom for a couple of weeks. I have planted them under trees and want them to naturalise but nevertheless plant more and more each year. Good to plant with rananculus which bloom shortly after the anenomes.

I planted these in terracotta pots so I could place where colour was needed. They have stood up to light frosts. Will order more for next year to give more impact

Hello there Normally these spring flowering bulbs would be planted in the autumn, but you can plant them now for an early summer display, but I wouldn't plant them out in the garden now as the ground is frozen. Planting in pots will be fine but make sure you have good drainage by adding some grit in with the compost. You will need to pre-soak the tubers before planting, then keep the soil moist but not too wet, otherwise they can rot. Hope this helps.

Hello, This plant prefers a spot in full sun - otherwise the growth can get a little sparse. If it is not getting sun for the best part of the day (and you don't suspect a cat or other animal is squashing the plant), then I would be tempted to move it to a better spot after it has died back.
