Native to Australia, Indonesia, and Malaysia, 'Gold Star' has narrow lance-shaped, deep green leaves with delightful splashes of bright yellow variegation. This houseplant likes bright, indirect conditions and plenty of warmth. An east or west facing window is perfect.
The combination includes one Codiaeum variegatum var. pictum 'Gold Star', measuring approximately 30cm (+ or - 10% including the pot), and one bird cage planter, which measures 43.5cm high and 17cm wide. - Home care: Place ‘Gold Star' on a warm east or west facing windowsill, out of direct sunlight, with a constant temperature of no less than 16°C. This Codiaeum prefers moist air so mist the leaves regularly, or stand on a tray of damp pebbles so the moisture can evaporate into the atmosphere. Water freely from spring to autumn with tepid water, keeping the compost moist, reducing this through the winter months. Feed through the growing season with a liquid fertiliser.
