  The mid green leaves of this semi-evergreen climber are tinged with purple in winter, and emerge flushed with bronze in spring. It makes an ideal backdrop for the scented, cream coloured flowers. This unusual semi-evergreen climber is excellent for training against walls or up a pergola, and in a warm summer, large sausage-shaped fruit may form.
