Bought these to fill one of the borders of my garden and also some containers. These plugs arrived in a healthy condition and continued to grow when potted on. After hardening off and planting out all plants have grown to a fantastic size and I am experiencing a fantastic display of beautifully coloured blooms. Would highly recommend these, they are worth every penny!

How many of these plants should I order to fill a border of 30 square feet?

It really depends on the effect you are trying to creat - and how patient you are. These are plug plants at present, so should be potted up and grown on, but once planted out (after all risk of frost has passed), they can grow to around 40cm (16") across. Therefore in theory, you could plant just one per square foot if you like. I however always plant bedding densely as I like a really full effect, so would plant 3 or even 5 per square foot.

These are seasonal bedding plants and should be considered as annuals.
