If I am honest , I was slightly disappointed when I first saw this nest box ..it is not made from silver birch as advertised in the Crocus picture but is made from a brown tree log. However I shall be keeping it as it is very solid, well made and rustic which is what I wanted . It even has lichen on the bark and it will blend in perfectly with the tree that I plan to attach it to more so than if I had had a silver birch nest box. Overall I am very pleased with it. I have numerous nest boxes in the garden most of which only get used for roosting and this is the first time I have gone for the rustic log one as I am trying to attract great t- ts to nest , so watch this space.... we might have the tiny flutter of babies this spring !!
