  • Position: full sun
  • Soil: fertile, well-drained soil
  • Flowering period: March to May
  • Hardiness: fully hardy

The contrasting colours of these two tulips make a bold impact, while their slender silhouettes and pointed petal tips link them together and create a sense of unity. In each collection you will receive the following:

    10 × Tulipa 'Greenstar'
The white petals of this liliflora tulip have a broad green stripe along their length, which creates a distinctive look. Long-lasting and perfect for the vase, the petals open to form attractive, star-like shapes as the flowers age. Grows to 50cm.

    10 × Tulipa 'Doll's Minuet'
A beautiful viridiflora tulip that has a delightful lily-flowered shape. It's highly prized for its unusual colouring and slender petalled, spidery blooms. Grows to 55cm.

  • Garden care: From August to November plant the bulbs 10-15cm deep and 10-15cm apart in a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil. While actively growing, keep them moderately well watered and remove the flowers after they have faded. At that stage a balanced liquid fertiliser can be applied each week for 4 weeks before they die down.
