  • Garden care: Sow thinly in trays of seed compost, cover with 0.5cm of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15-20C. Seedlings appear 14-21 days. Make 2 or 3 sowings for a longer flowering season. Remove cover when seedlings appear. To select double flowered seedlings, reduce the temperature to approx. 10C once true leaves have formed. Seedlings will be light or dark leaved, the light leaved ones are the double ones. When large enough transplant 5cm part in trays. Stand outside for a few days late May (avoid frosts). Transplant 15cm apart in flowering position. Dead-heading may prolong the flowering season.

  • Sow: Jan - July

  • Flowering: April - October
