Buy Diascia 'Diamond Fuchsia' diascia: Add a bright shot of colour to the summer garden

  • Position: full sun
  • Soil: fertile, moist but well-drained soil
  • Rate of growth: average
  • Flowering period: May to September
  • Hardiness: frost hardy (may need winter protection)

Add a bright shot of colour to the summer garden with this compact plant. It produces an abundance of larger than average flowers over a (somewhat) upright clump of fresh green foliage throughout the summer. It's a very pretty addition to patio pots and hanging baskets.

  • Garden care: Divide congested plants in early spring or late summer. Protect young plants from slugs and snails. Trim after flowering. Protect from excessive cold or winter wet.
