A wonderfully adaptable, densely tufted native grey sedge that’s happy in some sun or shady positions. Graceful, drooping mounds with arching, dark green or greyish evergreen leaves look superb when block planted or as individual specimens. Short spikes of greenish-brown flowers appear in summer.

Garden care: Comb or cut out dead leaves and flowers in spring; can be cut back by up to half in late spring or early summer.
