Deep drip tree watering stake
A new and innovative idea, which will help ensure your trees get the water they need, right where they need it. Simply hammer the perforated shaft into the soil around the drip-line of the tree (the outermost point where rainwater drips down). You can then fill it up with water from the hose, or feed in a drip-line from an irrigation system through the notch in the cap. The water will run out through the holes at the bottom of the shaft encouraging the plant to develop a healthy, deep root system. It can be easily lifted and repositioned when the tree grows, and can be used to apply fertiliser too - just pop it into the shaft of the stake to continually direct nutrients to the root zone.
Made from recyclable ABS plastic, it will help conserve water and it comes in three sizes. The 14" (small) size is ideal for shrubs, roses, tomatoes and young trees, while the 24" (medium) is better suited to trees that have been in the ground for a year or two. The 36" (large) spike is perfect for getting to the roots of mature and well-established trees.
