Handmade Cream Pearl Sun Parasol

These parasols are handmade in Bali by a small, family run business.They are made of a traditional heavyweight handloom cotton with bamboo spokes. The underside of the parasol uses the traditional Balinese technique of weaving cotton to cover the workings of the parasol. Hearts, individually crafted from mother of pearl, decorate the perimeter together with Chinese coins and cocoa beans. Even the pole has been beautifully finished with a burnished gold paint.

The parasol measures 200cm wide and 270cm high when open.
