Q:Will the bench stand up to a summer rain shower or two? What finish does the wood have?Asked on 16/7/2014 by Lutyens
If possible it would be best to position it in a semi sheltered area to avoid the worst of the rain. It has a powder coated finish.Answered on 23/7/2014 by Anonymous from crocus

Unfortunately we do not have this bench in any other colours at the moment, but we are hoping to have it in eau de nil at some point. In the meantime though, you can paint this bench any colour you like if you are looking for a more bespoke effect.
As for under-planting the roses, I would suggest a long-flowering Geranium such as Geranium macrorrhizum 'White-Ness' - please click on the following link to go straight to it.
