Yorkshire terracotta long tom pot

A classic, heavy long tom which has been crafted in Yorkshire. This traditional style terracotta pot is perfectly suited to all types of planting, though looks fabulous planted up with lavenders, buxus or bedding plants.

The pots are frostproof thanks to a firing process which was originally used to produce drainage pipes that would withstand the rigours of the British climate. The planters are fired to temperatures in excess of 1050°C for up to 10 days in order to produce a black core of incredible strength within the pot - thereby rendering them frostproof.
