Peat pockets

These are wonderful for either cuttings or seeds. By sowing individual seeds into each peat ‘pocket’ you avoid any fiddly pricking out, and end up with a seedling with a nice healthy root ball ready to pot on into a 9cm pot or straight out into the veg garden.

To use, water the compressed peat pockets so that they swell. Warm water will speed the process. Once they have fully expanded, they are ready to use. Keep the pockets moist but do not over-water.
