  • Position: full sun
  • Soil: humus-rich, moisture retentive soil

A classic sweet pepper variety with big, blocky fruits produced generously on vigorous and sturdy plants. The crisp, thick-walled fruit have small cores and a mild, sweet flavour, maturing over time from green through yellow and orange to bright scarlet red with the protection of a greenhouse. Can also be grown in containers outside on a sunny patio.

  • Growing Instructions:Sow in early spring in pots in a heated propagator or on a sunny windowsill and pot on individually, finally planting out into containers or in the greenhouse borders once plants are about 15cm tall. Support with canes as they mature and feed fortnightly with liquid tomato feed once flowers appear. To maximise your harvest pick the first fruits while they're still green to encourage the plant to form more, as leaving fruit on the plant to ripen stops further production.
