A native to the British Isles, this lime forms a handsome, round-headed tree with glossy, dark green leaves. In midsummer, tiny ivory-coloured flowers are produced which are sweetly scented and very attractive to bees. It is a large tree that is more suitable for growing as a specimen tree or in an avenue.
