Dense spikes of hooded, blush pink flowers appear from June to September above rosettes of veined, rich green leaves. This lovely hedge-nettle is an ideal groundcover or edging plant for a site in full sun. It provides an attractive, weed-suppressing carpet from spring to autumn and will tolerate both drought and partial shade. - Garden care: Pick off and destroy any foliage that becomes infected by powdery mildew and treat the remaining leaves with fungicide. Lift and divide large clumps in early spring.
