Trusses of bright crimson flowers put on a vibrant show in spring against the backdrop of the dark green leaves. This dwarf, evergreen azalea thrives in acidic soils and is perfect for the front of a mixed border. If however your soil has a neutral or alkaline pH, then it can be potted up or planted out into a raised bed filled with ericaceous compost.
