Wonderful, white flower bracts in June, and wavy-margined, dark green leaves turning crimson-purple in autumn. This Japanese dogwood is an ideal specimen tree for a small garden with fertile, well-drained, neutral to acid soil. Broadly conical in shape, it works best in a partially shady site where the attractive flaking bark can be appreciated close-up.
