  Known as 'Swiss Giant' this mange tout or sugar snap pea plant produces smallish edible pods that are ideal for stir fries. It can be sown at fortnightly intervals so you can have a succession of peas throught the summer. Add plenty of organic matter to the soil and it may need support as it grows to 160cm tall.

  Sow 5cm deep in trenches, 8cm apart
