  Distinctively veined, deep blue flowers up to 7.5 cm (3in) across appear in profusion on compact, well-branched plants. These fab petunias are renowned for their quick recovery from rain, heat or drought and they look very effective planted own their own in a hanging basket or patio container.
  
  
• Garden care:From late winter to mid spring, surface sow on good compost and keep at 20-25C. Sealing in a clear plastic bag after sowing may speed up germination. Thin out and pot on when the seedlings are large enough to handle and grow on in cooler conditions. Harden off gradually before planting out after all risk of frost has passed. Pots and hanging baskets will flower earlier than usual if they are potted up and grown on under glass before being moved outside.During the growing season water regularly and apply a high-potassium fertiliser every two weeks. Remove the spent blooms frequently to prolong flowering.
