Small, upright spikes of creamy-white, star-shaped flowers above a dense carpet of hairy, lobed, light green leaves, bronze-tinted in autumn. Flourishing in a wide range of soil conditions, it's an excellent companion for other shade-loving woodland plants.
- Garden care: Add plenty of well-rotted leaf mould when planting. Lift and divide congested colonies in spring and apply a generous mulch of well-rotted garden compost or compost leaf mould around the base of the plant.
