These seeds will not only provide you with some very beautiful wildflowers, but you will be helping to encourage all species of bees (as well as other beneficial insects like butterflies) to visit your garden.

Bee populations are seriously in decline and many species have become extinct since 1999. Many scientists believe that the honey bee could be extinct within a few years, which is very bad news as the worlds agricultural production relies on them. They currently pollinate over 80% of all edible plants in the UK, so without them we will potentially be facing a famine.

We can all make a real difference though by growing these bee-friendly wildflowers, which will allow them to gather a more varied amount of nectar and therefore give them more food.

This packet contains 5 grams of 7 specially picked wild flowers that will cover an area up to 5m². These include birds foot trefoil, common and great knapweed, cornflower, red clover, sainfoin and selfheal.
