A compact form of euphorbia with greyish-green, lance-shaped leaves that grow in rosettes along stiff stems. In spring, the flower shoots curl over before straightening and opening into clusters of bright, apple-green spring flowers. This shrub forms a neat rounded shape, and the fleshy foliage provides all-round structural interest. It looks great in a sunny border with blue and gold planting schemes or with architectural plants. Where frost is a problem, plant close to the base of a sunny wall.
- Garden care:
To promote new shoots remove flower-heads in spring after they have flowered. When working with spurges always wear gloves since the milky sap is poisonous and a potential skin irritant.
