  • Flower colour: purple-blue
  • Other features: mid-green leaves

Masses of purple-blue, cup-shaped flowers appear on the slender trailing stems creating a prolific display from July to September. A beautiful, tender plant that looks wonderful drifting along the front of a sunny bed, or when allowed to cascade over the edges of a raised bed or large pot. In areas with cold, wet winters it's best grown as an annual or overwintered in a cool, frost-free greenhouse.

  • Garden care: Water freely during the growing season. In areas with cold, wet winters overwinter container-grown specimens in a cool, frost-free greenhouse, keeping the compost barely moist. Divide congested specimens in spring.
