  • Position: full sun

    Lavender-pink summer flowers, opening from crimson-red buds, and fragrant dark olive-green leaves with yellow spots. This creeping thyme looks fabulous cascading over a sunny rock garden outcrop. An easy-to-grow and attractive plant, it thrives in well-drained neutral to alkaline soil.

  • Garden care: After flowering cut back hard using garden shears to retain a neat compact shape. Lift and divide large clumps in early spring.
