A new coneflower with showy, double flowerheads, which top the upright stems from midsummer, often lasting well into autumn. Their colouring is a vibrant shade of orange, so they look fab in a hot colour scheme and they also blend well with ornamental grasses. For a dazzling contrast, place them next to strong purples or blues. They show a good tolerance to bad weather and will make excellent cut flowers.
- Garden care: Lift and divide congested colonies in autumn or spring. In autumn cut back all dead flower stems to the ground. Coneflowers benefit from a spring or autumn mulch with well-rotted compost.
