• Position: full sun or partial shade
• Soil: fertile, well-drained soil
• Rate of growth: fast-growing
• Flowering period: July to October
• Hardiness: frost hardy (will need winter protection in cold areas)
  
  Stunning flowers appear in midsummer and will continue on until mid- to late autumn. The flowers rich red colouring, with a contrasting white throat, provides a distinctly two-toone effect. A cottage garden favourite that is hardy in most locations.
  
  Grown in individual plug cells, each plant measures about 5 - 7 cm tall (from the base of the root to the top of the plant). They can be grown on or planted straight out into the garden.
