• Soil: moist, humus-rich soil
• Rate of growth: average to fast-growing
• Flowering period: May to July
• Flower colour: purple, pink, creamy-yellow or white
• Hardiness: fully hardy
  
  A magnet for bees and other insects and just perfect for the wildlife or woodland garden, the gorgeous flowerspikes will offer months of interest, and then will self-seed freely around the garden - so there will be more to follow in subsequent years.
  
  All parts of the plant may cause severe discomfort if ingested and contact with the foliage may irritate skin.
  
  Grown in individual plug cells, each plant measures about 5 - 7 cm tall (from the base of the root to the top of the plant). They can be grown on or planted straight out into the garden.
