This wonderful new shrub has recently been introduced from the USA. It has beautiful, blue-flushed leaves, which create quite a spectacle w2hen they turn rich shades of orange, red and yellow in the autumn. In spring, the dainty white flower clusters appear, and these too look pretty impressive against the smokey backdrop of the foliage. It makes a lovely addition to a blue and white border.
- Garden care: Keep well mulched with composted bark. Carefully trim back in April, taking care not to cut into old wood.
