This is a long-lasting hardwood that has a fine grain and beautiful patina with age. It is also strong enough to cope with being knocked about a bit. This potting bench has an oiled finish, so you can either leave it to weather naturally and it will turn a soft silvery colour, or maintain the finish by using a hardwood furniture oil periodically.
