Open border plan A border that will add colour from mid summer and well into the autumn. Richly coloured perennials blend well with the floaty grasses giving this a light airy feel that will have lots of movement.

Planting tips:Choose a sunny spot with well drained soil. Dead-head the flowers after they have faded, but you can leave the grasses uncut to enjoy their silhouettes through the winter.
